Clay-limestone slopes with Fronsac molasses soils on a limestone fossil base.
80 % Merlot
5 % Cabernet sauvignon
15 % Cabernet franc
Bordeaux methods with perfectly-ripe grapes, finely-tuned polyphenol extraction monitored by tasting. Matured on the fine lees with carefully-dosed oxygenation.
Visual : a brilliant deep raspberry red colour.
Nose : Fine and mature, reminiscent of Bulgarian rose, cassis compote and roasted walnut.
Palate : Balanced and rounded with generous flesh and a delicate array of morello cherry, black pepper and cocoa notes.
Ideal with stews, roast poultry, duck confit or side of beef.
