Mia Moscato - Doux et Léger

FRUITY & SWEET MOSCATO

Winemaking

From the freshly pressed must of Moscatel grapes, alcoholic fermentation starts slowly, at controlled temperatures, in stainless steel tanks until we reach 5-5.5% of alcohol. The tanks are then hermetically sealed, and a second, much slower fermentation is started at a lower temperature. This is traditionally called the "prise de mousse" or creation of the sparkle, creating an elegant bubble which is integrated into the wine. When the alcohol reaches 7% we stop the fermentation by reducing the temperature tank and prepared for bottling.

100% Moscatel grapes from several Mediterranean areas of Spain.

Dosage: 84 g/L

Tasting note

Bright and straw yellow colour with elegant bubbles.
Powerful and intense aroma, basically white flours, peach and ripe apricot. Mia Moscato has an inviting sweetness, extremely well balanced with the acidity.
Combines perfectly freshness and body on the palate. Charming feeling at the end.
