Seigneurs de Bergerac Red

Seigneurs de Bergerac's wines draw quality and wine tradition from their prestigious ancestral land.

Winemaking

The grapes, picked at perfect maturity, are de-stemmed and lightly crushed. The maceration, which lasts about 15 days, is done by controlling the temperatures. The draining is decided when the balance of the wine is achieved. The wine is then matured in stainless steel tanks for 6 to 8 months.

Varietals

45% Merlot 45% Cabernet Sauvignon 10% Cabernet Franc

Tasting notes

Seigneurs de Bergerac has a beautiful ruby color, deep and brilliant. The nose is expressive and delicious, exhaling notes of ripe black fruits (blackberry, blueberry, and blackcurrant) and raspberry jam. In the mouth, the attack is smooth and fruity, with aromas of black cherry and plum followed by notes of mocha and a hint of liquorice.

Tasting suggestion

This wine will be excellent with dishes of white meat (chicken, turkey...), and a variety of cheeses
