Premius Bordeaux White
PREMIUS is the prestige cuvée from Yvon Mau, makers of fine Bordeaux wines since 1897. From selection through to the winemaking process, PREMIUS benefits from all the lavish attention of our in-house winemakers. This meticulous care has been rewarded over the last 10 years by some 50 medals in the main competitions in France and around the world.
Premius Sauvignon is made from a prefermentation maceration. The wine is pressed and then decanted at low temperature. The fermentation is done at a controlled temperature (16°C - 18°C) in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on fine lees for several months to develop its flavour and roundness.
With an attractive pale yellow colour, Premius Sauvignon reveals a bouquet of pink grapefruit and passion fruit. The attack is lively and fruity, with citrus flavours leading into a lovely fresh finish. Serving suggestions: Premius Sauvignon would be ideal as an aperitif, with tapas, seafood or white meat.
