In March, Henkell & Co.-Group signed an agreement to acquire 50.67 % of Freixenet S.A.’s shares and to start an extensive international cooperation with the remaining shareholders, José Ferrer Sala and José Luis Bonet Ferrer.
The purchase of the shares, which was subject to the approval of the European antitrust authorities, has now been confirmed. We are delighted that the close cooperation between our two companies can finally begin following today’s closing.
