Tasting notes
Brilliant, constistent purple robe. Mature, elegant, fruity and enticing, a heady blend of vanilla pod, wild rose and grilled bread aromas. A hearty opening with prominent cocoa flavours, blossoming to reveal great balance and warmth, with peppery accents. The finish is well-structured, with a delicate, persistent hint of liquorice and sweet, grilled aromas.
Serving suggestions
Ideal with beef in a cèpe mushroom sauce, with roast lamb or quail with grapes.
